Event description

From Friday, 10 May 2024 to Sunday, 26 May 2024, the Ice Hockey World Championship takes place in Prague.

  • Visitors to individual matches are advised to use public transport services to get to the venue (Prague Arena), especially metro line B with exit at Českomoravská station. Prague Arena is also within walking distance from the tram stops Arena Libeň jih (lines no. 7, 8 and night line no. 92) and Poliklinika Vysočany or Divadlo Gong (lines no. 12, 31 and night line no. 94), from the bus stops Českomoravská (during the Championship relocated to K Moravině street, lines no. 151, 152 and 375) and Nádraží Libeň (lines no. 136, 177, 182, 183, 195 and night line no. 913), as well as from the railway stations Praha-Libeň and Praha-Vysočany.
  • Metro line B operation will be strengthened on individual game days in exposed time periods.
  • On Sunday, 26 May 2024, after the end of the final match, the metro operation on all lines will be extended past midnight, until approximately 1:00 a.m.
