The entitlement to discounted fare can only be claimed by a person with permanent residence in the Czech Republic, who is a beneficiary of the invalidity pension due to invalidity of third degree, or is of pension age, who receives monthly recurring social care financial benefits due to material distress, or who is a beneficiary of the invalid pension that replaces the retirement pension.
Free transport does not apply to trains included in the PID system. Instead, the railway carrier\\\'s tariff applies here. Only ZTP/P card holder\\\'s guide is transported free of charge in the PID trains - it can be either an accompanying person, or a dog if being transported together with this holder.
* Holders of ZTP card and holders of ZTP/P card and their guide, including a guide dog, if being transported together with this holder (compensation aids, which these persons need for the period of their transport or subsequent movement, are also transported free of charge), to whom this card has been issued in the Czech Republic, are transported free of charge in Prague public transport and it is not necessary to buy any ticket or to have any other travel document issued. This also applies to citizens outside Prague.
