Pražského povstání - Muzeum: Temporary suspension of the metro operation

Because of the metro track repair, starting on Thursday, 28 Oct 2021 (from the beg. of the operation) and lasting until Sunday, 31 Oct 2021 (to the end of the operation), there is no metro service on C line between the stat. Pražského povstání and Muzeum.

Replacement bus XC is established in daytime operation on the route Pražského povstání – Vyšehrad – I. P. Pavlova – Muzeum – Hlavní nádraží.

Stops of bus XC

In the direction of Hlavní nádraží

• Pražského povstání – boarding stop – in Děkanská vinice I street, at the stop of bus 904 in the direction of Sídliště Stodůlky
• Vyšehrad – in 5. května street, approximately 50 metres behind the intersection with Lounských street
• I. P. Pavlova – in Legerova street, at the stop of bus 905 in the direction of Sídliště Čimice
• Muzeum – in Legerova street, at the stop of bus 905 in the direction of Sídliště Čimice
• Hlavní nádraží – terminal stop – in Wilsonova street, at the stop of bus 905 in the direction of Sídliště Čimice

In the direction of Pražského povstání

• Hlavní nádraží – boarding stop – in Wilsonova street, at the stop of bus 905 in the direction of Jižní Město
• Muzeum – in Wilsonova street, at the stop of bus 905 in the direction of Jižní Město
• I. P. Pavlova – in Sokolská street, at the stop of bus 905 in the direction of Jižní Město
• Vyšehrad – in 5. května street, at the blinded end of U Gymnázia street
• Pražského povstání – terminal stop – in Děkanská vinice I street, at the stop of bus 134 in the direction of Dvorce

Changes in tram operation

On Friday, 29 October 2021 (between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.), tram 15 (as a part of the replacement connection during the suspended metro operation) is, in the direction from Olšanské hřbitovy, extended from the Výstaviště stop, via the stops Nádraží Holešovice, Trojská, Ke Stírce, Kobylisy and Ládví, to the Sídliště Ďáblice stop.

Barrier-free travel:

Due to missing barrier-free exit from the Pražského povstání station, we recommend using:

• tram 19 from the Pankrác station,
• bus 135 from the stations Roztyly and Chodov,
• all connections are provided by low-floor vehicles,
• current status of the barrier-free facilities can be found here.

With regard to extensive construction activities in the area of Hlavní nádraží, we recommend using preferably the Muzeum stop in order to change between the XC line and the metro in the event of impaired traffic.

Please note that on Friday, 29 October 2021, with regard to school holidays, the operation of city bus lines is organised according to holidays timetables. Current timetables will be available in connection search engines and on websites www.dpp.cz and www.pid.cz. Bus timetables valid for this day will not be posted at the stops. On this day, C line of the metro is in limited operation between Letňany and Muzeum, and in holiday operation between Háje and Pražského povstání.
