Karlovo náměstí - I. P. Pavlova: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Due to tram track reconstruction, starting on Friday, 11 August 2023 (approximately from 4:30 a.m.) and lasting until Sunday, 20 August 2023 (approximately to midnight), there is temporarily no tram service between Karlovo náměstí and I. P. Pavlova.

Route changes of tram lines

• Tram 6 is split into two parts:
  • In the direction from Palmovka, it is shortened to the Karlovo náměstí stop, and continues further as tram 16 in the direction of Kotlářka
  • In the direction from Kubánské náměstí it is shortened to the I. P. Pavlova stop, and continues further as tram 10 in the direction of Sídliště Ďáblice
• Tram 10 is split into two parts:
  • In the direction from Sídliště Řepy, it is shortened to the Karlovo náměstí stop, and continues further as tram 22 in the direction of Bílá Hora
  • In the direction from Sídliště Ďáblice, it is shortened to the I. P. Pavlova stop, and continues further as tram 6 in the direction of Kubánské náměstí
• Tram 16 is split into two parts:
  • In the direction from Kotlářka, it is shortened to the Karlovo náměstí stop, and continues further as tram 6 in the direction of Palmovka
  • In the direction from Ústřední dílny DP, it is diverted from the I. P. Pavlova stop, via the stops Bruselská and Nuselské schody, to the Náměstí Bratří Synků turning loop
• Tram 22 is operated in two route variants:
  • Connections running from the Bílá Hora stop are shortened to the Karlovo náměstí stop, and continue further as tram 10 in the direction of Sídliště Řepy
  • Connections run on the route Vypich – Nádraží Hostivař are, between Karlovo náměstí and Koh-i-noor, diverted via the stops Moráň, Albertov, Otakarova and Bohemians
• Tram 23 is diverted, in the direction from Královka, from the Karlovo náměstí stop, via the stops Moráň, Albertov and Palackého náměstí, to the Karlovo náměstí stop, and further continues back in the direction of Královka.
• Tram 24 is shortened, in the direction from Vozovna Kobylisy, to the Florenc stop.
• Trams 91, 97 and 99 are diverted, between Karlovo náměstí and I. P. Pavlova, via the stops Moráň, Albertov, Náměstí Bratří Synků and Bruselská.
• Tram 96 is diverted, between Karlovo náměstí and Otakarova, via the stops Moráň and Albertov.
• Tram 32 is established in daytime operation on the route Zvonařka – Bruselská – I. P. Pavlova – Náměstí Míru – Jana Masaryka – Vršovické náměstí – Čechovo náměstí – Koh-i-noor – Slavia-Nádraží Eden – Kubánské náměstí – Průběžná – Na Hroudě – Nádraží Zahradní Město – Zahradní Město.

Changes to tram stops

• The following I. P. Pavlova stops are established:
  • In the direction of Náměstí Míru – in Jugoslávská street, before the intersection with Londýnská street
  • In the direction of Bruselská – in Bělehradská street, approximately 50 metres behind the intersection with Jugoslávská street

Replacement bus service

• Replacement bus service line X10 is provided in daytime operation on the route I. P. Pavlova – Karlovo náměstí.
• Stops:
  • I. P. Pavlova – boarding stop: in Bělehradská street, at the tram stop in the direction of Muzeum
  • Ve Smečkách: in Žitná street, at the stop of bus 904
  • Karlovo náměstí: on Karlovo náměstí, approximately 40 metres behind the intersection with Žitná street
  • Karlovo náměstí: on Karlovo náměstí, before the intersection with Ječná street
  • Štěpánská: in Ječná street, at the stop of bus 904
  • I. P. Pavlova: in Sokolská street, at the boarding stop of bus 148
  • I. P. Pavlova – terminal stop: in Bělehradská street, at the tram stop in the direction of Muzeum
• Replacement bus service line X91 is provided in night operation on the route I. P. Pavlova – Lazarská
• Stops:
  • I. P. Pavlova – boarding stop: in Bělehradská street, at the tram stop in the direction of Muzeum
  • Ve Smečkách: in Žitná street, at the stop of bus 904
  • Lazarská: in Lazarská street, at the tram stop in the direction of Karlovo náměstí, or Národní třída
  • Karlovo náměstí: on Karlovo náměstí, at the tram stop in the direction of Moráň
  • Štěpánská: in Ječná street, at the stop of bus 904
  • I. P. Pavlova: in Sokolská street, at the boarding stop of bus 148
  • I. P. Pavlova – terminal stop: in Bělehradská street, at the tram stop in the direction of Muzeum

Changes to bus stops

For buses 904, 905, 907, 908, 910 and 911, the I. P. Pavlova stop (in the direction of Muzeum, or Karlovo náměstí) is relocated into Bělehradská street, to the tram stop in the direction of Muzeum.
