It happens to everyone from time to time: you lose something, leave it behind or find somebody else’s belongings in a public transport vehicle. No need to feel lost! What to do in such a case?

Lost items

A wallet, telephone, keys, glasses or your child’s plush toy? It could be anything.

If you lose something, call our information line at 296 19 18 17 and we will do our best to help you. Tell us the line you lost the item on, between which stops, at what time, in which direction you were travelling – the more details you give us, the easier it is for us to try to find the lost item.
If you only realise you’ve lost something the next day, get in touch via our contact form to speed up the process.

Found items

And what to do if, on the other hand, you find something that is not yours in a public transport vehicle or perhaps a metro station? Please hand the item over to the tram driver, bus/trolleybus driver, or the supervisor at the metro station. Our staff will ensure that the item gets to the right place. Thank you!

All unclaimed items, for which it is impossible to determine to whom they are to be returned based on the circumstances will be taken to the Lost and Found Office of the Prague City Hall.
