Penalty? Pay it online!
Did you forget your Lítačka card at home and got fined by a ticket inspector? Or did you simply not buy a ticket and now you have to pay? We get it’s unpleasant, so we’re trying to make the whole process a tad easier for you - now you can pay the penalty online from anywhere.
How to pay the penalty online?
- The penalty can be paid online at our e-shop – direct link here. (Currently available only in Czech.)
- Fill in the number from the document called Zápis o provedené přepravní kontrole (ZOPPK) (Record of Performed Transport Inspection) that the ticket inspector gave you, and click Vyhledat (Search).
- If you had a valid coupon at the time of the ticket inspection (you simply forgot to take it), or if you’ve purchased an annual full-price coupon as part of the Penalty with a discount promotion within 5 business days, select the Ověřit kupón (Verify coupon) option. The system will automatically evaluate the ownership of the coupon and reduce the amount of the fare surcharge. *
- If you’ve not purchased a coupon, go to the Platba (Payment) section by clicking the Zaplatit (Pay) button. The penalty amount will be reduced for early payment (within 15 days) automatically upon selecting the payment type.
- You can use a payment card, payment buttons of ČSOB or Poštovní spořitelna, and Česká spořitelna Servis24 to complete the payment.
* Only applicable to electronic fares purchased through any sales channel. You need to register in the Prague Public Transit Company’s e-shop before paying the penalty online. Not applicable to paper coupons.
Fare fines-surcharges can still be paid when assessed at the inspection control site, in person at DPP’s special additional payments windows at its Central Dispatch Center or by bank transfer.
Verification of valid coupon and reduction of surcharge

You will need to register with DPP's eshop or login into PID Lítačka before proceeding with this option.
No fine can be paid online until after 1 p.m. on the business day following the day on which the fine was imposed.
